Chattanooga, by any other name

The violence that is now hidden by our simplistic use of the word "terrorism" will continue.

We can now add Chattanooga, Tennessee to the long list of places from around the world where people are seemingly inexplicitly murdered by strangers. Already, the July 16 deaths of five American servicemen has been labelled an act of terrorism. Comments by persons who knew the killer suggest that he was an "all-American boy.”
