The ceremonials of Remembrance Day have faded quickly this year, overtaken by the overwhelming horror of the attacks in Paris. One hopes, however, that with the personal stories of the victims in Paris fresh in our thoughts, we remember equally the personal stories of the deaths and sacrifice associated with Remembrance Day. They are part of the same equation.
