Learning to live within our limits

Analysts at the World Wildlife Fund reckon that in about 50 years' time, there will be two Earths. The WWF types are not forecasting that there will be two identical planets orbiting around each other. Their calculation, instead, is that before long we will be consuming the output -- in resources of all kinds -- of two planets.
