Sharansky Poses Problems For Sharon And Bush

Natan Sharansky's resignation from Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's cabinet this week represents a severe blow both for Sharon's disengagement plan and for President George W. Bush's plans to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians. This is because Mr. Sharansky's strength is moral rather than political.
