Not many people would associate the job of an ambassador with having more time for family, but that's exactly part of the reason why Milenko Misic, the new Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is so happy about his new post. For the past seven years, Mr. Misic commuted to Sarajevo on Mondays, leaving his wife and two young children behind in his hometown of Banja Luka, while he worked all week at the Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He would only come home on Fridays, spending just two days with his family before heading off for another five days at the office: "You can imagine, it was very difficult and very stressful. Now we are together in Ottawa," he smiles. "I'm very happy that we're here, living in a quiet part of Ottawa."
