Excerpts from the eulogy delivered by Gareth Berry at the funeral for his father, Glyn Berry, on Jan. 26 in London, UK. Canadian diplomat Glyn Berry was killed in Afghanistan on Jan. 15 when a suicide bomber attacked the convoy he was riding in, killing Mr. Berry and seriously injuring three Canadian soldiers. He was the political director of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team, a job, his son says, "he loved every minute of his time out there."
