Outgoing Mexican Diplomat Dreamed of Meeting Canadian Author Mordecai Richler

This might sound a bit out of the ordinary for a diplomat, but when Fernando Espinosa, Counsellor for economic affairs at the Mexican Embassy, was posted to Canada six and a half years ago, one of his dreams was to meet author Mordecai Richler, the Montreal-born writer whose works he had read. But Mr. Richler died in 2001 before Mr. Espinosa could fulfill his wish.
