Royal Delegation Opened New Doors For Belgian Diplomat

Last October, Filip Vandenbroeke was working comfortably at his posting in Algeria when the Belgian ministry of foreign affairs called and asked him to travel to Ottawa to organize a visit led by Prince Philippe. The Belgian crown prince was leading a delegation of 200 businessmen to Canada, and Mr. Vandenbroeke's previous experience in handling a similar visit to Algeria was needed in Ottawa. The prince and the delegation were also visiting Toronto and Montreal.
