Just as Fidel Castro is showing signs of slipping into history, Hugo Ch?°vez has won another mandate as president of Venezuela. The Ch?°vez re-election last Sunday, coupled with his ongoing control of the Supreme Court and the legislature along with the suggestion–okay, threat–that he might alter the constitution to keep himself in power for another 15 years, moves him to the top rung of Latin American leftists. Or does it?
