Continued importance of Canada-Africa

Last week, the Canadian Council on Africa hosted a special conference entitled "Redrawing the Blueprint for the Canada-Africa Partnership." One of the co-chairs was former Liberal foreign affairs heavyweight Lloyd Axworthy.

Last week, the Canadian Council on Africa hosted a special conference entitled "Redrawing the Blueprint for the Canada-Africa Partnership." One of the co-chairs was former Liberal foreign affairs heavyweight Lloyd Axworthy. The list of currently serving Canadian parliamentarians scheduled to address the participants, however, was slight, with only Liberals Keith Martin and Mauril Belanger and Conservative Lois Brown featured.
