Victory is slippery in war-torn Libya

Canada's defence minister says we should be there till the 'job is done.' But what's the 'job?' And how do we know when it's done?

Last week Canada's Parliament briefly debated and then voted to extend our military commitment to the NATO mission in Libya. In announcing the extension, Defence Minister Peter MacKay explained that "Canada was in at the very beginning [and] we should be there until the job is done."
