Canada Must Catch Up

Your analysis ("Signed, Sealed, But Not Delivered," April 13) fails to account for why last month the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the 2003 Missouri Supreme Court (Roper) decision citing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) to overturn the death penalty for crimes committed by under-18s. I read in your article that the U.S. is still condoning this practice when in fact they have ruled otherwise.
