It is difficult to understand how Donald Barry could be so wrong to claim the seafood boycott had no effect on fish sales ((Re: "How Canada Can Save Its Endangered Seal Hunt," Aug. 20). We were particularly concerned by the statement that the Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards has "all but stilled protests over trapping."
