Foreign Affairs Employees There to Serve

I find it difficult to believe that Foreign Affairs employees don't realize that the Conservatives are the governing party (RE: "Leaked DFAIT Memo Documents Struggle Between Conservative Political Staff and Foreign Service," July 29).

I find it difficult to believe that Foreign Affairs employees don't realize that the Conservatives are the governing party (RE: "Leaked DFAIT Memo Documents Struggle Between Conservative Political Staff and Foreign Service," July 29). They must remember that they are "civil servants," whose ideology must be left at the door when they go to work. If the rhetoric of the government of the day does not follow their own personal ideology, I suggest that they leave that employment and/or shut up and get to work.
