Applied training happening at UBC

The authors in your excellent policy briefing on education for international affairs agree in their call for a more practice-oriented education. We have long believed that a regional specialization coupled with a strong focus on policy-making and policy analysis in our Master of Arts Asia Pacific Policy Studies program at the University of British Columbia offers an attractive route toward more practical training. Such a hybrid program tends to fall through the cracks of surveys, but offers some of the best of many worlds and represents one of the most dynamic fields in education for international affairs.
