An apartheid analogy by any other name

Israel’s detractors such as Gwynne Dyer (RE: “John Kerry’s heresy,” May 1) liken the Jewish state to Apartheid-era South Africa in the hope that left unanswered, this rhetorical slur will become accepted as conventional wisdom. Dyer contradictorily claims that Israel is not now an apartheid state while also arguing it is—only that if the situation continues it will be exacerbated.
