Art, like mathematics, sometimes needs a little bit of abstract thinking to conceptualize in reality. It also needs a different kind of artist, one who sees the art in the unlikely. David Buckland is just such a person. In the icy waters of the Arctic, the London-based British artist sees art in the melting ice whose impending watery state is hastened by the effects of climate change.
