Two days before the opening ceremonies of the 2004 Olympics in Athens, the Press Secretary for the Embassy of Greece in Canada, Ioannis Petsilas, discussed the Games in the context of a post 9/11 world. A former journalist himself, Mr. Petsilas shared his observations and opinions on the past, present, and future of the Olympiad.
