African Union experiment failing, says human-rights witness

With 10,000 people a month dying in western Sudan and the presence of African Union peacekeepers falling far short of the effort required to end the genocide taking place, it is time for Canada to intervene. This was the stark message delivered on April 20 by Kenneth Roth, one of the world's most respected human rights advocates, to the members of the House Subcommittee on Human Rights and International Development.
