Greg Rollins was an art student at the University of British Columbia when he decided to attend an introductory trip to the West Bank with Christian Peacemaker Teams. The inspiration that came from that two-week trip to Palestine led to years of work in the volunteer army of faith-based peacemakers, first in the West Bank and then in Baghdad. Now home in Canada on leave (he expects to be back in Baghdad soon) he has some grass-roots insights on Iraq from his independent perspective.
