Export Development Canada returns to Russia after suspending operations in the late 1990s, and says despite past problems, Russia is a good country to do business.

When the Iron Curtain fell in 1991, Western investors who saw the event as the opening of a vast and untouched new market quickly flocked to Russia and the other former Soviet countries with dreams of untold riches.
