Filipino Groups Want Review of Military Aid

Church leaders allege Filipino soldiers are involved in extrajudicial killings, which the ambassador says will be the subject of a UN report later this month.

A group of church leaders from the Philippines representing different denominations have called on Canada to review its military aid to their government because of human rights abuses committed by the armed forces of the Asian island nation.
