Washington and British Columbia have long shared more than a border. We have been good neighbours, exchanging goods and services, and tourism is a key economic development opportunity for us both. Visitors to the greater Pacific Northwest seek a broad range of experiences. Residents and visitors to Vancouver Island will hop a flight to shop in Seattle or to hike in our national parks, just as residents and visitors to Washington will ferry to Vancouver Island to enjoy the historic British heritage.
