Health Care Brain Waste Needs a Long-Term Policy Solution

Although it was common to hear laments about Canada's health care "brain drain" throughout the 1990s, it is important to note that we are a greater importer than exporter of educated health labour. Indeed, Canada has relied heavily on internationally educated health professionals to help solve shortages, particularly in underserved rural and remote areas.
