Activists Fear Canada's Corporate Coup d'État

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America has come under fire for compromising sovereignty, being too secretive and curtailing freedoms.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America undermines Canadian sovereignty and is the brainchild of corporations, whose only objective is to increase profit at the expense of ordinary citizens in Canada, the United States and Mexico, according to panelists at a conference organized by the Council of Canadians last weekend.
