Education Funding Not Meeting Needs

Education is part of CIDA's mandate, but cash for promoting literacy and schooling is flowing neither abundantly enough, nor to all who need it.

Canada's paltry international assistance levels means the country is not committing its fair share to ensuring education is available to all, and that CIDA is restricted in which nations it undertakes education projects, opposition critics and civil society officials say.
