Kenya Crisis Prompts Calls for Review of Democracy Projects

One Kenyan expert says Canada's multi-million dollar democracy support projects have paid off despite recent post-election violence, but MPs say such programs need re-assessment.

Canada has spent millions of dollars on projects designed to promote democracy and good governance in Kenya, including $2 million to support last month's general elections, CIDA documents show.
