The press conference had been hastily called and the reporters in attendance weren't quite sure what to expect. It was Feb. 27 and all anyone knew was that Canada's defence minister and top general were scheduled to appear with the commander of NORAD, Gen. Victor Renuart, to discuss "Canada and U.S. military relations."
