The Harper Conservative government's recent sabre rattling concerning Russian bomber flights in the Arctic is a childish and non-productive approach to dealing with the issues that are developing due to the melting of the polar ice through climate change.

The Harper Conservative government's recent sabre rattling concerning Russian bomber flights in the Arctic is a childish and non-productive approach to dealing with the issues that are developing due to the melting of the polar ice through climate change. Instead of being confrontational, Canada should be increasing its peaceful, diplomatic efforts while working towards international co-operation in the Arctic.
