Canada's two-country Asia-Pacific engagement panned

Experts say new institutions are threatening the country's engagement in the region.

During the last Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation leaders' summit in Singapore in November, Prime Minister Stephen Harper declared that Canada's "future prosperity will increasingly depend on our ties to the Pacific."
