In the past decade, the number of international development studies programs at Canadian universities, and the number of students enrolling in those programs, has increased dramatically. There are now more than 20 IDS or similarly focused programs across Canada. At many Canadian universities, it is the fastest growing program, and every year, hundreds of students are now graduating with degrees in the field.
