Canadian trainers expected to land in three Afghan cities: Envoy

Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif and Herat are now all on the table.

In mid-March, Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Chief of Defence Staff Walter Natynczyk undertook a four-day tour of Afghanistan. The visit went largely unnoticed as Canadian media focused on the contempt of Parliament motions working their way through the House in advance of a suspected federal election.
