'Safe' country list could be obstacle to EU trade deal

Canada has not included two European Union countries on an initial list of so-called safe countries announced today, meaning that they could continue to face Canadian visa requirements, and as a result possibly complicate Canada’s plans to ink a trade deal with the EU.
