China protests Tibet leader’s visit

Chinese Embassy insists Tibetan people's rights are safeguarded.

The Chinese Embassy in Ottawa is objecting to this week’s visit by Tibet’s political leader to Canada, while insisting that China respects Tibetans’ rights.
