Canadians evenly split on support for Israel, Palestine: Poll

Balance shifts back after pro-Israel bump following Palestinian statehood vote at UN, says pollster.

A new poll suggests Canadian support for either side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is split almost evenly. Seventeen per cent of respondents leaned towards Israel’s side while 16 per cent supported the Palestinian side, according to the results of a Forum Research Inc. poll released May 26.
