Turks desert Parliament Hill as politicians loudly support Armenians

Turkish envoy responds to passing of motion commemorating Armenian genocide saying events of 1915 were "singled out" and motion with "disputable elements" will not influence Turkey's position.

Canadian Parliament passed a motion commemorating the Armenian genocide Friday after thousands of people gathered, on one side of the Hill, to recognize the 100th anniversary of up to 1.5 million Armenians being killed or deported by Ottoman Turks during World War I.
