Sad Saga of a Would-be Canadian Diplomat

It should not and some believe could not occur in Canada, but it did and regrettably is still happening. It is a chronology that puts all Canadians to shame and we need to create safeguards to ensure it does not happen again. The story is that of Kenyan-born Canadian citizen, Bhupinder Singh Liddar, who started working as an MP's research assistant on Parliament Hill in 1977. Mr. Liddar became a fixture as an expert in international affairs. His networking skills brought diplomats, parliamentarians and many other interested Canadians together.
