Foreign Aid Bill Would Clean Up Canada's Dirty Development Accounting Practices

Official Development Assistance, or ODA, must be the global concept that is most misunderstood–and therefore mismanaged–by Canadians. Our inability to mobilize significant political will and consensus on this issue is a glaring failure of Canada's role on the international stage. With a bill I am currently sponsoring in the Senate, Bill C-293, we at last have a chance to put our ODA house in order and become a leader in global poverty eradication.
