The government is lighting up the Peace Tower in Ottawa and the CN Tower in Toronto with the colours of the Haitian flag to commemorate victims of last week's earthquake, Bloomberg reported. The earthquake is expected to cost the island nation at least 15 per cent of its $7-billion gross domestic product, according to Pamela Cox, the World Bank's vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean. As many as 200,000 may have died in the disaster.
