Canada, meet Southeast Asia

We need to leverage our diaspora populations to build the profile of ASEAN across Canada.

When Canadians think of economic opportunities in Asia, most think of emerging economies with impressive projected growth rates and large GDPs, like China and India, or of more established economies, like Japan or Korea. What most of us don’t think of is a group of economies in Southeast Asia, known as the Association of South East Asian Nations.
