Why Trudeau is right on Syria

Canada does have a role in the fight against ISIS, but it need not be a hard power strategy.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s plan to welcome more than 25,000 Syrian refugees and halt Canada’s air strikes in Syria has been sharply criticized. Vocal critics favour a continuance of Canadian air strikes and stress that expedited entry of refugees is a threat to national security.
