Since June 2015 when Donald Trump announced his bid as the Republican nominee to the 2016 United States presidential election, several observers thought his candidacy was frivolous. Mr. Trump’s unscripted approach to politics and political affiliations with Democrats, Republicans and reformists made him an easy target from all sides.
