The Ecuadorian film In the Name of the Girl played April 11 at Library and Archives Canada as part of the 18th Latin American Film Festival.

The Canadian Film Institute and participating nations of the 2014 Latin American Film Festival hosted a media launch on March 20 at the Cuban Embassy. This year’s festival featured Fiesta Latina, a day-long public food, wine and culture showcase on March 29 at Library and Archives Canada.
The Slovak Embassy hosted an art exhibition opening on March 28 at the embassy for the work of Slovak-Canadian artist Susan Kunstadt.
