Camping Across Canada

The freedom of the open road and the informality of a campsite are the only ways to go

Though she's only been here for 15 months, Jo-Anne Hardie hasn't wasted any time in getting to know Canada. "We've traveled throughout Canada even before we were posted here," she says, noting she, her husband and young children toured Ontario and Quebec while Mrs. Hardie, presently First Secretary and Consul at the Australia High Commission, was posted in the United States. This summer, she has planned a three-week camping excursion with her family to Canada's Maritime provinces, starting in mid-June.
