Earlier this month, William Fisher, High Commissioner of Australia, hosted two events in Toronto and Vancouver to introduce his country's businesses to Canadians. Guests at both events also got a chance to see the Queen's Baton, symbol of the lead-up to the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Australia in March 2006. The Queen's Baton was in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Ottawa as part of a relay tour that will travel more than 180, 000 kms in 71 countries of the Commonwealth.
