Second Canadian at IOC

During the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, Canadian cross-country skier Beckie Scott was elected to represent athletes on the International Olympic Committee for an eight-year term, replacing one of two outgoing representatives. She is the second Canadian member of the IOC, together with Dick Pound, head of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
