Accountability in the UK

The Prime Minister's Federal Accountability Act is being studied by the UK's Committee on Standards in Public Life, which recommends reforms in the public sector. In Ottawa, group Chair Sir Alistair Graham said the strengthening of the position of the electoral officer, the role of the ethics commissioner and individual donations to political parties are some aspects that interest the group. Sir Alistair and other members like Dame Patricia Hodgson and Baroness Gillian Shephard are off to the U.S.
