Less Poverty in Philippines

Due to steady economic growth and improving poverty rates in the Philippines, Canada's International Development Agency will be scaling back its aid to the South-East Asian nation over three years. Currently, CIDA contributes $25 million annually to the Philippines through agencies including UNICEF and the WHO.
