Taking Heat at Climate Talks

As UN Climate Change talks began in Bonn, Germany on May 15, Canada's Environment Minister Rona Ambrose came under fire for withdrawing Canada's commitment to Kyoto while remaining chairperson of the talks. Opposition Leader Bill Graham accused Ms. Ambrose of destroying the system from within, while German Environment Minister Sigmar Gabriel said it was too early for Canada to give up on its targets for 2012.
