Odoi-Sykes Fraud Charge

Samuel Odoi-Sykes, Ghana's most recent high commissioner to Canada, has been charged with financial malfeasance in Fast Track Court in Accra, Ghana, by a former business associate Isaac Torgbor Tetteh. The two men were co-directors of a now defunct pharmaceutical firm, and Mr. Tetteh is suing Mr. Odoi-Sykes over alterations in its shareholding structure. Mr. Odoi-Sykes has filed a defence, accusing the plaintiff of political motivations to destroy his reputation.
